OBJECTIVE

The investment objective of the Gateway India Growth and Income Fund is to generate long term capital growth from investments identified across Indian equity and/or bond markets. The manager may also choose to hold Government securities, collective investment schemes, and cash & money market instruments as appropriate in achieving the overall objective of the fund.

INVESTMENT APPROACH

The Fund aims to benefit from India’s ongoing economic reforms, strong and organic economic growth and also companies that we believe have tractive long- term prospectus with high capital appreciation. The fund aim to achieve capital growth with opportunity for additional income generation depending on market conditions.

 

Fund investments are in well–diversified portfolio of large-cap stocks, fixed income securities listed and traded on the National Stock exchange of India. All bonds in which the Fund invests will have a rating of at least investment grade by one or more credit rating agencies.​
